I’ve spent 11+ years leading marketing, brand, and digital growth inside a major research university — most recently as CMO of UC Berkeley’s Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology. The throughline is building systems, and the tools behind them, that move audiences from first touch to conversion.
I lead the full stack of modern marketing: brand and narrative, integrated campaigns, demand generation, content, and comms — backed by CRM and analytics that keep it measurable. What makes me different is that I also build. I designed Berkeley’s first AI-guided entrepreneurship chatbot, and I now build full-stack, agent-based marketing systems. When a strategy needs a tool that doesn’t exist yet, I don’t wait for it.

Good marketing reduces hesitation. I’d rather lower cognitive load for the audience than perform complexity for the brand.

The creative lands best when the positioning, funnel, and measurement plan make sense first. Pretty campaigns that can’t be measured don’t last.

Recognition & scope: Chancellor’s Outstanding Staff Award, UC Berkeley (2022). Built and led teams of 10–15 across growth, comms, and design on a ~$600K annual budget, with agency and vendor oversight, full-funnel CRM and analytics (HubSpot, GA4), and an in-house video pipeline.
